THE PRIMARY WAYS GOD SPEAKS TODAY.

Happy Weekend lovelies. While we must never limit God in the methods He uses to  speak to us, from my experience, people’s experience  and  observation, I  believe there are three main ways God  speaks to us today: 1.  Through His Word  — The Bible is the Word of God,  His complete revelation, and it’s His foremost way of  communicating with us today. The Bible is His Word for  all people because it speaks to the basic human condition, and it addresses every emotion, human relationship  dynamic, problem of the heart, aspect of the psyche,  temptation or desire, heartache or joy, and issue of faith,  hope, and love. The Bible covers it all! Whenever we face  difficulties, experience heartaches, or have questions, we  should go first to Scripture. There, God will speak to us  directly, personally, intimately, and effectively (Josh. 1:7-8). 2.  Through His Holy Spirit  — As we walk daily in the  ...

HOW GOD GETS OUR ATTENTION.

You know when we walk in the Spirit, alert to God, we  hear what He’s saying to us as a natural part of our  spiritual walk. This is the Christian life, living responsive  to the voice of God in whatever fashion He may choose to  speak to us.  Unfortunately, there are also times when we choose to do  things our own way or become insensitive to know when  it’s God speaking. As a result, we head in a direction that  brings us to disaster or disappointment. God’s speaking,  but we aren’t listening.  We aren’t tuned in to Him.  In these times, God often uses   unusual means to get our attention. Major ones among  them are: 1.   An Unsolicited Word From Another Person  — While  not all messages from others are positive, there are times  when God decides to speak to us through a friend,  stranger, a child or a church members etc. It is left to us to  be able to detect or realize it is God speaking t...

READY OR NOT.

Hey lovelies,   Are you ready for what you’re called to do as a child of  God or not? Are you somehow not convinced that you are  even ready when it seems like you are? Are you in the  category of “I’m not ready”? Are you getting read for the  race?   All this and many more questions we need to ask.  ourselves at some point in our life especially if you’re a  “baby Christian” (not yet spiritually matured). As  believers of Christ, ready or not we have to run the race to  the end.  To be ready the following equipments would be necessary: Be willing- when you’re ready and willing for the  work, it only makes it easier for every other thing to fall in place. Put on the armor of God-    “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Studying of the Bible (Joshua 1:8) Spend quality time with God (Proverbs 8:17)  Prayer (1 Thessalonians 5...

CONSISTENCY (finale)

I’m glad that you’ve finally and successful read the first   three part of this awesome topic and you’re back here for the  final part🥰, thank you for the love. When you know how important something is you seek or  search for things to do to make it better. Here it is , so sit  back, relax, read through carefully and take important notes.  WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS THAT WE DO TO GAIN CONSISTENCY IN OUR WALK WITH JESUS? Daily prayer. Spending time in prayer every single day  strengthens us for the twists and turns of life. No  compromise in this area is acceptable. Spending time  alone with God is essential. When we do this, we find it  easier to pray to him throughout our day! Daily time in the Word. God’s word is an anchor point for  our faith. When we feed ourselves daily with spiritual  truth, we grow stronger. We cannot have consistency  when we are starving for the truth! This is another no  compromise area....

CONSISTENCY PART 3

Happy Weekend lovelies,  I hope your week was great😊. Today we are looking into consistency in a different  dimension or revelation 😁 and it’s subtitled “THE  CURE FOR INCONSISTENCY” How do you develop spiritual consistency that blesses  your family? Abraham acted foolishly, but he also  modeled what to do when you have fallen by repenting  and, eventually, renouncing his sin. Abraham had an underlying selfishness and fear that led  him to come up with a strategy of self-protection. He  wasn’t convinced that God would or could protect him;  so, he put in place a plan to protect himself. His bad  decisions (fruit) flowed from that false belief (root). Part of the healing process is to get below the surface of  the fruit (what you see as the problem) and deal with the  root. What is the underlying lie you believe and the  strategy you have put in place around it? Repent of that  and renounce that. A consistent Christi...

CONSISTENCY PART2

I t’s that time of the week again and I’m glad you’re  reading this☺️.  Today we’re going to be looking into what it cost to be consistent, because being consistent as some will say  “no be beans” it takes a lot from us as Christians. It is expected of us when we say, “I’m a Christian,” that we model it consistently before others. Not  perfection. Consistency.  But spiritual consistency is costs. In regard to my car,  it  cost me a battery. In regard to our faith, the costs are pricier: Again, spiritual consistency doesn’t mean we’re  perfect, but it does mean we’re honest. It costs us our  pride as we confess our sins to God and to one another   (1 John 1:9; James 5:16). It costs us some sleep, as we get up perhaps 30  minutes earlier to make our relationship with God our  priority each day (Proverbs 8:34-35; Mark 1:35).  Spiritual consistency costs us the daily sacrificing of  our own wills and s...

CONSISTENCY (part 1).

Hey lovelies, Happy weekend☺️. I hope y’all doing good and walking in faith. Before reading, prepare your mind and heart to learn and unlearn, understand and be enlightened on things. Consistency in the walk of the Spirit is what produces the power of God. The problem is we have a lazy generation who wants to experience power without sacrifice! We have a lazy church who wants impact without power and power without spiritual pressure! So in the end what we have is a church that resembles the world and not a world that resembles the church! 2 Chronicles 5:13-14, "It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; So that the priests could not stand to minister because ...

TRACING THE DOTS.

Hey lovelies, Happy new month 🤗 , I pray for more of God’s evident presence this month in Jesus name. Don’t forget to always pray without ceasing. Today’s topic of discussion is sounding like some CID    or Sherlock Holmes kind of thing  😂  but I hope after reading this you try and trace the dots if you feel like you’ve lost the touch. Tracing the dots or in a better way getting it right.  In life as humans and as Christians we default, of course, we aren’t perfect so we have to default at a point in time or the other. Defaulting isn’t the issue but knowing when and where you’ve defaulted and correcting the default or making sure it doesn’t happen again is always the issue. A lot of times we hear people say things like “I used to be a prayer person before but now I don’t know what happened, I can’t even explain” does that person sound like you? Are you feeling that way?   At any point in life where you have to say these words have it in mind t...
