HOW GOD GETS OUR ATTENTION.

You know when we walk in the Spirit, alert to God, we

hear what He’s saying to us as a natural part of our

spiritual walk. This is the Christian life, living responsive

to the voice of God in whatever fashion He may choose to

speak to us.

Unfortunately, there are also times when we choose to do

things our own way or become insensitive to know when

it’s God speaking. As a result, we head in a direction that

brings us to disaster or disappointment. God’s speaking,

but we aren’t listening.

We aren’t tuned in to Him. In these times, God often uses

unusual means to get our attention. Major ones among

them are:

1. An Unsolicited Word From Another Person — While

not all messages from others are positive, there are times

when God decides to speak to us through a friend,

stranger, a child or a church members etc. It is left to us to

be able to detect or realize it is God speaking to us

through the person. God does so in order for us to see that

he cares so much for you that he had to use someone to

tell you sometimes a stranger so that he might startle you

into paying close attention.

2. A Restless Spirit — God has frequently used a

persistent restlessness to direct people in their life.

Sometimes he uses it when the individual seems to busy

to notice the other ways God has spoken to him or her.

That restlessness drives us to seek God so

that, when the time came, you would be ready  to hear

Him.

3. Unanswered Prayers — While God answers many of

our prayers in the way in which we desire, sometimes

He’ll delay an answer or answer a prayer with a definitive

“no” in order to get our attention or keep us from straying

off course. He knows that when all of our prayers seem to

be answered, we may become complacent and simply

cruise through life without listening to what He desires to

say to us.

There’s no such thing as an accident with God. The Father

may use many different methods to get our attention and

keep us in alignment with His will for our lives. But we

must always remember that He knows exactly what’s best

for us, and He’ll never quit trying to reach us so that He

can guide us into the wonderful plans and purposes He

has in store for each of us (Jer. 29:11).

4.Unusual Circumstances (Both Bad & Good) —

Circumstances can set us up to open our hearts to God and

turn our attention fully toward Him. While not all

circumstances are caused by God, some examples are;

illness, accidents, bankruptcies, divorces, and unusual

blessings of abundance bring people to their knees and to

a total reliance on Christ, sometimes for the first time in

their lives.

MEMORIES.

Hey lovelies, I do hope you’re doing great. So, I’d like to thank you for reading my last post, for sharing and commenting, I love you❤️. So today’s write up is going to seem more like a poem or journal I really don’t know which to call it, but I hope it keeps you occupied and you learn a thing a two from it😌. Enjoy my little piece🤗. What is life without memories? What is life without moments? What is life without people? What is life without memories? Memories are gifted scenarios Memories are unforgettable  Memories are cherished Memories remind you of the moments  Memories can be good Memories can be bad A of a single memory can either bring a smile to your face or bring tears to you. Memories are a gift to us as humans Memories are to remember at some stages of life. Memories are to be made and created every step of the way. Memories are what we should have and cherish. Some memories can be bad and some good, but all that matters is that they are memories and you remembe...

CONSISTENCY PART2

I t’s that time of the week again and I’m glad you’re  reading this☺️.  Today we’re going to be looking into what it cost to be consistent, because being consistent as some will say  “no be beans” it takes a lot from us as Christians. It is expected of us when we say, “I’m a Christian,” that we model it consistently before others. Not  perfection. Consistency.  But spiritual consistency is costs. In regard to my car,  it  cost me a battery. In regard to our faith, the costs are pricier: Again, spiritual consistency doesn’t mean we’re  perfect, but it does mean we’re honest. It costs us our  pride as we confess our sins to God and to one another   (1 John 1:9; James 5:16). It costs us some sleep, as we get up perhaps 30  minutes earlier to make our relationship with God our  priority each day (Proverbs 8:34-35; Mark 1:35).  Spiritual consistency costs us the daily sacrificing of  our own wills and s...

CONSISTENCY (part 1).

Hey lovelies, Happy weekend☺️. I hope y’all doing good and walking in faith. Before reading, prepare your mind and heart to learn and unlearn, understand and be enlightened on things. Consistency in the walk of the Spirit is what produces the power of God. The problem is we have a lazy generation who wants to experience power without sacrifice! We have a lazy church who wants impact without power and power without spiritual pressure! So in the end what we have is a church that resembles the world and not a world that resembles the church! 2 Chronicles 5:13-14, "It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; So that the priests could not stand to minister because ...
