CONSISTENCY PART 3

Happy Weekend lovelies,

I hope your week was great😊.

Today we are looking into consistency in a different

dimension or revelation 😁 and it’s subtitled “THE

CURE FOR INCONSISTENCY”

How do you develop spiritual consistency that blesses

your family? Abraham acted foolishly, but he also

modeled what to do when you have fallen by repenting

and, eventually, renouncing his sin.

Abraham had an underlying selfishness and fear that led

him to come up with a strategy of self-protection. He

wasn’t convinced that God would or could protect him;

so, he put in place a plan to protect himself. His bad

decisions (fruit) flowed from that false belief (root).

Part of the healing process is to get below the surface of

the fruit (what you see as the problem) and deal with the

root. What is the underlying lie you believe and the

strategy you have put in place around it? Repent of that

and renounce that.

A consistent Christian life isn’t lived Sunday by Sunday,

but moment by moment. Jesus said if you want to be My

disciple, then take up your cross daily and follow Me…

not weekly.

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit want fellowship with you

every day. Your discipline is to wake up daily and turn

your mind to God’s presence. And then for the rest of the

day, live your life in the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for reading. Stay tuned for the concluding part ☺️it’s just getting interesting.

THE FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN.

Hey lovelies, Happy weekend. So, to today’s discussion, I’m sure you’re wondering what exactly it's going to about well think less, stay tuned and read on πŸ˜‰ . The fear of the unknown is usually something that gets in the way of a lot of us getting things done, trying new things, going outside of our comfort zone and everything new or different. It’s not easy to do things without being scared of what could happen, the what if’s and all the clauses, one sure thing is that this all brings about anxiety. I usually say something, everything in this life is a risk, sleeping is a risk but it doesn't make us not to sleep, driving is a risk but it doesn’t make us not to drive, working is a risk but it doesn’t make us stop working, business is a risk but it doesn’t stop us from investing and going into other lines of business and having several streams of businesses  and the list goes on and on of risks in life that we still engage in. A lot of the people some of us look up to or hea...

SIGNIFICANT HALLMARKS OF GOD'S MESSAGE.

Hey lovelies, Happy weekend, I hope we’re all doing well, staying safe, and trying to get ourselves back together(emotionally), let’s not forget to keep our hopes, faith and strength up no matter how hard things get, it might take longer but the land would be green ❤️ . Last weekend I wrote about “When God Speaks” and the importance of the spiritual sensitivity to know when God is talking. Today you are going to reading about how to know it’s God speaking. NB: this was inspired by my daily devotional  πŸ€— . It's important to hear from God or communicate with God but it’s also important to know when it’s God who is speaking. There are five significant hallmarks of God’s messages to us. They’re a means of determining whether the voice we’re hearing is truly the voice of God. If you have a question about whether a message is from God, line it up against these criteria’s: 1.  The message must be consistent with the Word of God, the Bible.   God will never tell us to engage in ...

TRACING THE DOTS.

Hey lovelies, Happy new month πŸ€— , I pray for more of God’s evident presence this month in Jesus name. Don’t forget to always pray without ceasing. Today’s topic of discussion is sounding like some CID    or Sherlock Holmes kind of thing  πŸ˜‚  but I hope after reading this you try and trace the dots if you feel like you’ve lost the touch. Tracing the dots or in a better way getting it right.  In life as humans and as Christians we default, of course, we aren’t perfect so we have to default at a point in time or the other. Defaulting isn’t the issue but knowing when and where you’ve defaulted and correcting the default or making sure it doesn’t happen again is always the issue. A lot of times we hear people say things like “I used to be a prayer person before but now I don’t know what happened, I can’t even explain” does that person sound like you? Are you feeling that way?   At any point in life where you have to say these words have it in mind t...
