GOD’S SILENCE

Hey Lovelies, How’s your week going? Have a good read❤️. ——————————————————————— God answers prayer. But sometimes, God is silent. As believers, we’ve all been there or will be. We may earnestly seek God but, in return, only sense His silence. And this silence can be difficult, and frustrating. The Bible tells the story of a man named Job who was familiar with God’s silence. In his pain and suffering, he cried out to God. He asked for answers. And he kept asking. But for the first half chapters of the Book of Job, his cries for God’s help and relief are met only by God’s silence. As Christians, we are not always going to hear God’s voice, but from Job we can learn a few things to do when God seems silent. 1. Examine Your Life Begin by asking yourself, Is there any unconfessed sin in my life? Make sure nothing is blocking you from being able to hear God’s voice. Psalm 66:18 says, “If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, my Lord would not have listened” (New Living Translation). This...

Thank you for your support last year TGT Family, I love and appreciate you❤️. Still in the celebration of the season and the setting of goals and planning. Today’s topic is going to help us improve on getting things done better and faster. Enjoy reading. So, I heard that you’ve set your goals for 2021 and are planning on executing them very soon but you suddenly remembered last year's goal that you were not able to accomplish.  Don’t get too worked up, here are a few things that you probably did last year that didn’t make you accomplish those things. 1.) Procrastination:  I’m sure there were times when you had the opportunity to carry out the goal and plan last year but you kept on postponing when to start and therefore it resulted in an empty report sheet for last year. The year is still fresh don’t star...

HEALING POWER OF CHRIST Part 2

THE HEALING POWER IS YOURS. Do you believe that God has given you his healing power? ...by His stripes (wounds) we are healed  (Isaiah 53:5, AMP).  Kindly note from that Bible verse that word "HEALED" is in past tense, it means healing is already available to you even before you are sick or have that  disease.  The healing power of Christ has been made available to all since when He was hung on the cross.  Paul said in Romans 8:11(NLT) "The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you." HOW TO ACTIVATE THE HEALING POWER OF CHRIST .  1. Believe that Jesus has bored your disease and sickness. 2. Trust God for healing  3. Confess the word of God. (Mark 5:28) For she kept saying, “If only I touch His garments, I will be healed. (BSB)) There is power in you constantly and consistently ...

HEALING POWER OF CHRIST Part 1

Hey Lovelies,  Happy Weekend.  Have a great read❤️. We as believers we possess the healing power of Jesus  Christ.     The death of Jesus brought about healing for those  that are sick of any form of diseases. Why then is sickness in the world?  I will like us to know that God does not put any form of  sickness or diseases on anyone. God is a loving father and  he cares for us. He does not use disease to teach us  lessons. He does not punish us.  He is not watching for  every slip up in order to throw lightning rods of judgment our way.  God loves us into obedience, by showing us  over and over again how much He cares for us.  It should be of note that the earth is not run by God but  the earth is being run by Satan. Matthew 4:8 gives us an  insight on that.  The dominion and rulership of the world was transferred  to the devil when man fell in the Garden of Eden. As long as the devil is...

WHERE DOES GOD FIT IN?

Hey lovelies,  How’s your week going? Hopefully it’s going well. NB: While reading this make sure to keep an open mind and  be intentional about your decision. ————————————————————————- Today’s topic is very important because amidst our busy life  we all yearn or desire more of something but we seem to omit  God in all we desire or do in our day to day life. As humans we are bound to get busy or distracted by  situations, work and other events going on in our life or  around us that we sometimes don’t even know where to fix  God in our daily life. We get so occupied that we only fix God in when we are in  need, in trouble or when we remember to fix him in. Unlike  our gadgets that needs to be plugged in when it’s running low  God doesn’t need to be fixed in when we’re at our lowest  point alone. No one can deny being busy, even an idle man is  busy with his thoughts but have you taken time to ask  yourself where does God f...

STARTING AFRESH.

Hey lovelies   Happy weekend ❤️ I’m sure seeing the title you felt like not again as per  you’ve probably read it somewhere before or read  something similar to the topic. Well, yeah it might be similar but you’ll gain something  new or renew some old knowledge gained before now 😊 . I would like to share a story.  If you’re following me on  Instagram then you’ve read the  story already but  nevertheless  keep reading 😊 . This topic dawned on me yesterday while searching for  something and I came across a bag which I stored my  materials for bag making, and I started thinking of starting  afresh but before then, I thought of why I stopped and  honestly I didn’t have any cogent reason as to why I  stopped  making the bags (I mean I had great sales). What then is Thegabbytable trying to say you must be  asking. There are things we’ve probably started in life’s journey  that was either going well or ...

POWER OF PRAYER.

What happens when you pray?  Is there really power in the prayers you pray? Does anything change when I pray? All this questions would be answered if you keep reading. As Christians, prayer shouldn’t be a thing of when I feel like,  when you’re faced with difficulties, when you’re asked to do  so in church, or any Christian gathering you find yourself in. Prayer like the Bible says should be done “without ceasing”,  if there’s no power in prayer the Bible wouldn’t have said to  to do so without ceasing. Even Jesus Christ prayed and fasted for 40days and 40nights  and after which it was recorded that the devil came to tempt  him.  To show us the importance and power of prayer is example of  Paul and Silas in the prison, the power of prayer brought  about their breakthrough. Prayer has the power to make a huge difference to our lives  and the world around us. Prayer is spiritual nutrition. Just as the body needs physical  ...
